Iman and Sajjad are two young mediators who work with young people who have to deal with the problems of unemployment, depression and lack of self-confidence. Iman is translating “Investigations of a Dog” into Farsi and simultaneously playing a taxi driver. Some passengers remind him of the characters in Kafka’s story. On the other hand, Sajjad, Iman’s best friend, is a very inhibited boy who tries to save some money to get a makeover. They both have dogs that look like them and make up for their loneliness, although they are not welcomed by their respective families.

Amir Azizi (Ahvaz, 1984) began his career in 2003 as an assistant to notable directors such as Kianoosh Ayyari, Mohammad Hosein Latifi, Rakhshan Bani Etemad and Ahmadreza Darvish. He has made several documentaries and short films, before shooting his first feature film Impermanent in 2015.
