Synopsis

Jay, a young man who committed murder in Malaysia, is sent to a soon-to-be-demolished housing block in Singapore. It is there where he meets Hannah, the only woman in a family made up of criminals. Jay’s presence disrupts alliances between an occult boss, a sociopathic thug and a disillusioned henchman. Jay and Hannah plan to escape with the boss’s money, but get caught up in a night of seduction, deadly violence and betrayal. Malam plunges into an underworld of sexual jealousy, power struggles and Southeast Asian folklore.
