Synopsis
A hearing-impaired woman dreams of becoming a professional boxer, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she is threatened with the closure of her boxing club. Members have canceled their memberships for fear of contagion. Added to these are the illnesses and ailments of its elderly president, who has been her greatest support for her development as an athlete. This situation pushes the protagonist to the limit.

Shô Miyake (Sapporo, 1984) is a filmmaker and writer, known for And Your Bird Cand Sing (2018), a drama about a love triangle formed by three young people. Presented at the Tokyo International Film Festival in 2018, it was selected for the Forum section of the Berlin International Film Festival in 2019. Other notable films by this author are Playback (2012) and Small, Slow but Steady (2022).
