Synopsis

In the afterlife, a sound technician seems to remain in the mortal realm, due to his commitment to the profession. With a tape recorder, a microphone and headphones, he quietly intrudes into public and private life with the records of him. Such are his interventions that friends and family end up reflecting on the repercussion of his death.

Director

Royston Tan (Singapore, 1976) is a veteran filmmaker with a strong appreciation for local cultural and social traditions. Known for making a dissection of the personal and social life of one or a group, this filmmaker asserts the mystery to focus his own interest and that of the public in his captures. He was awarded Best Director for 12 Lotus at the 29th SGIFF, among other local and international awards.
