Synopsis

The specialty of Damal movie is that during the war in 1971, a football team of Bangladesh played in various parts of India to help the liberation war of Bangladesh. The ‘Independent Bangla Football Team’ was formed to create public opinion in favor of independence and to create a fund for the freedom fighters.

Raihan Rafi (Bangladesh), is a film director and a screenwriter. Raihan Rafi is acknowledged for his debut movie PoraMon 2, which was produced by Abdul Aziz. The movie won three Meril Prothom Alo Awards for Most Critic Movie of the Year, also, the movie won the award for Best Actor and Best Actress.
