Synopsis

Broken Blooms explores the setbacks and challenges of a newly married couple. Cynthia and Jeremy have to overcome the tests that shake a marriage in the first stage of its life. Difficulties do not appear alone, so facing certain circumstances derived from the global pandemic endangers their relationship, but also allows them to experience the solidarity of the community. 

Director

Luisito Lagdameo Ignacio (Philippines, 1968) began his career as a director of music videos for some Filipino singers. He later directed shows and soap operas for Philippine television. He made his film debut in 2014 with Asintado, and in 2016 with his film Area he won the Best Director Award at the ASEAN International Film Festival and the Special Jury Prize at the 2017 Eurasia International Film Festival, in Kazakhstan.
