SYNOPSIS

Adel is a 16-year-old boy whose parents have divorced and his mother lives abroad. He lives a joyful and extravagant life next to his father in Tehran, until his family who lives in another province asks his father to find a new wife/spouse. Despite Adel’s disapproval, his father travels there in hopes of getting remarried. However, he dies in a tragic accident. Adel’s relatives want to take his guardship until the age of 18 so he can decide wisely regarding his inheritance. Nonetheless, Adel seeks his independence immediately.

 

BIOGRAPHY

Born in 1976, Sadegh Sadegh Daghighi is a graduate in film directing. He has not only produced many short and documentary films but has also leaded some video projects. Moreover, Daghighi has experience in cinematography, sound recording, editing, and special effects. He directed his debut feature film, Hero Boy, in 2012. His first movie won fifteen awards from Fajr Film Festival together with the International Children and Young Adults Film Festival. His second film, Until Ahmad Returns, has won a considerable number of awards, such as: the Silver Sword from Warsaw Historical and Military Film Festival, the Best Film and Best Directing awards from Jaipur International Film Festival, the Golden Star for the Best Directing in Abuja Film Festival, and the Golden Lantern for the Best Film from Ammar Film Festival. His third feature is Forty Baldies.
