SYNOPSIS

On an ordinary morning, to a 26-year-old writer’s utter indifference, everything stops. He takes the freeze as a fateful sign to become bedridden to protest the life that has deprived him of his identity. However, Tsolmon, his fiancée, sees this action as egocentric nonsense.

DIRECTOR’S BIOGRAPHY

Byamba Sakhya born in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, graduated in VGIK as cinematographer. He is a documentary and fiction filmmaker with a long record collaboration on international film productions. His documentary Passion (2010) won main prizes at film festivals in Asia, the Americas, and Europe; his first feature, Remote Control (2013) was also multi-awarded. Byamba is co-founder of Guru Media – a production company. Bedridden (2020) is his latest feature.
