Mosaic, an urban sketcher suffering from ALS, bumps into Angelfish, a bank employee who was his classmate in elementary school, at a school function. When his condition worsens, Mosaic asks Angelfish for one last wish: to be his girlfriend for a day. Throughout that day, Angelfish feels her appreciation for the city and life rekindle as she shares this experience with Mosaic.
Erica Li graduated from the School of Journalism and Communication at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and earned a master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Hong Kong. She has been a singer, writer, lyricist and started her career as a screenwriter in 1993. Her works include King of Comedy (1999), Ip Man, the Final Fight (2013), Shock Wave (2017) and Men Suddenly in Black (2003), which was nominated for Best Screenplay at the Golden Horse Awards. Just 1 Day, an adaptation of the novel of the same name, is the first feature film he has directed.
