SYNOPSIS
A father is on his deathbed, before his three sons and a daughter who gather to read his will. The surprise comes when they find out what corresponds to each of them. The patriarch’s fortune consists of two million dollars whose distribution does not please any of his heirs. The eldest son complains that he has only left him nine hundred thousand dollars, but the others are furious to discover that they have to share the rest of the money among themselves. The situation suddenly turns in favor of the eldest brother when he receives a call that his son has been kidnapped and the ransom amounts to two million dollars.
DIRECTOR’S BIOGRAPHY
Park Hyunyong studied film directing and screenwriting at the New York Film School. Don’t Go Too Far (2021) is his first feature after the short films Visit (2017) and The Luncheon on the Grass (2016), the latter of which was invited to the New York and Seoul Independent Film Festivals in 2016.
