Tomo, a hostage of bad luck, and Hiroko, a young girl with obsessive feelings, live in Tokyo and share the mystery of a book by an unknown author. Both try to decipher the book and in the process end up immersed in a journey of signs, sounds and situations that lead them to another part of Tokyo where they will find themselves in a labyrinth of subcultures and unheard of situations.

Mark Chua (1992) and Lam Li Shuen (1996) are two filmmakers and musicians whose work consists of exploring narrative possibilities through audiovisual language. Their films have been screened at numerous international festivals in Australia, the USA, Brazil and the Philippines.
