A wondrous prostitute lives with her three loving husbands and plies her trade while living on a boat in Hong Kong. With an overactive libido, she doggedly devotes herself to her work. With this film, the director Fruit Chan uses sex to satirise the state of the contemporary Hong Kong. It won the Awards to Best Film, Best Director and Best Actress at the Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards 2019.

Fruit Chan is a Hong Kong Second Wave screenwriter, filmmaker and producer born in Guangdong, China. He is well known for using amateur actors and for his style of film reflecting the everyday life of Hong Kong people. With local and international success, his prolific career includes “Made in Hong Kong” (1997), “Durian Durian” (2000), “Public Toilet” (2002) and “The Mignight After” (2016).
