Synopsis
Hye-jeong works in a factory on the outskirts of the city. All she wants is to live alone in peace. One night, however, she finds she has become a ghost. As a ghost, she goes back in time, day by day, and tries to keep out of harm’s way. While doing so, she gets a glimpse of the scars and sorrows of her neighbors, and realizes the deaths of her neighbors are all closely related. The film won the Audience Award at the 2018’s Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival.
Director’s Biography
Yu Eun-jeong (1986, Cheongju, South Korea) is a South Korean filmmaker. She graduated from Hongik University, and afterwards she majored in directing at Korea National University of Arts in 2015. She is the prize winner of the 2012 Seoul Women’s Film Festival Asian Short Film and Video Competition with “Lights in the Dusk” (2012), followed by “I Hate It” (2015) and “Dead Time” (2016).
