Synopsis
War broke out in Numia, North Africa. Zong Da Wei, a former resident diplomat, and Cheng Lang, a newcomer in the Information Department, were ordered to assist in the evacuation of overseas Chinese. The mission ended successfully, but they soon learnt that there was still a group of trapped compatriots who were heading to the border evacuation point under the leadership of Bai Hua. In desperation, the two gave up the opportunity to go home and entered the war zone retrograde.
Director
Rao Xiaozhi is known as a Director, Actor, Writer, Executive Producer, Presenter y Producer. He was born in Guizhou, China, in 1980, and is well-known for a successful career, with films like A Cool Fish (2018), Ren Chao Xiong Yong (2021), Ode to the Spring (2022), Day Dreaming (2023) and Home Coming (2022). For this last film (Home Coming), Xiaozhi Rao won Best Director at the 3rd Golden Elm Flower Awards in Macau, and another award as Best Director at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Film Festival, in India. Home Coming was also the highest-grossing blockbuster of the National Day holiday in China in 2022.
