MOONFISHING IN AEWOL

Cheol receives a letter from his friend Su-Hyeon, who has passed away in a motorbike accident on Jeju Island. Cheol decides to visit the place where his friend died, and there he meets Sol-Wol, Su-Hyeon’s girlfriend, who went to live on the island after his sudden death. Both are very affected by what happened, but as time passes and they share the experience of mourning they end up getting closer.

Bak Cheol-U, is a Korean filmmaker, who started working as an assistant director. He has made numerous short films, including Found Love. His directorial debut was Moonfishing in Aewol, a film based on a play he wrote while on Jeju Island.
