LUCKY MONSTER

Do Maeng Soo has accumulated a huge debt to private lenders who now demand a repayment plus interests. Since he cannot pay the money back, the lenders start to blackmail him, threatening him and his wife. He decides to get a divorce in order protect her. However, as soon as he is granted the divorce, his luck changes 360 degrees. Suddenly he wins the lottery and gets rich, but all he wants is to share it with his wife.

Bong Joon-young, is a Korean film director, who graduated from Seoul University, in Chinese Literature and Psychology, simultaneously specializing in Acting at the South Korean Academy of Film Arts. Lucky Monster is his debut feature.
