Iska

Iska’s life is not easy. She lives in a shack, works as a photocopier attendant and also does some cleaning. Her husband is an alcoholic and a womanizer who mistreats her, while she takes care of the house and an autistic grandson. According to Iska the family must take care of the family and she refuses to leave DongDong in an orphanage, although circumstances lead her to act in a somewhat unusual manner and she is accused of child abuse. But Iska never gives up and tries to survive.

Theodore Capistrano Boborol began his career as a creative researcher at Star Cinema in 2000 and made his directorial debut in 2015 with Just the way you are, a teenage dramatic comedy followed by Vince and Kath and James (2016) and Finally found someone (2017).
