Ying Juan is 30 years old and weighs 105kg. She works helping in the nursery run by her mother and is a target for jokes and teasing. On her birthday, her mother enrolls her in a weight loss programme, which Ying Juan only accepts for her mother’s sake. When she meets Wu, a delivery man who, despite his smile, hides a difficult past, Ying Juan is encouraged to make the sacrifice. However, when she believes that everything is going well, Ying Juan begins to lose her passion for food and life, due to the aggressive diets she is subjected to, until she finds herself on the verge of physical and emotional collapse.
