After her husband’s accident she is forced to be the family’s breadwinner and fight against economic difficulties. Yati has a physical disability and redefines her future with her usual idealism, opposing her father’s convictions. Despite her physical difficulties and the ridicule she is subjected to because of her disability, she manages to work in a clothing factory. Maria is a widow and therefore lives with other widows.
