Changfeng is an isolated village located in the interior of China. Its inhabitants lead eccentric lives that seem to be the most natural thing in the world. A group of children walk through the tales of the village characters as they sense the harshness of life hidden behind the wonder of childhood. The plot has the reference of Macondo by Gabriel García Márquez, in One Hundred Years of Solitude, so that in Changfeng we perceive a nostalgia that is based on both fantasy and reality.

Wang Jing is a screenwriter, editor and film director. She is a graduate of the Beijing Film Academy and currently teaches at Nanjing University. In 2008 she made Crossroads, her first film. She has won several scholarships and had her international debut at the Busan International Film Festival in 2019.
