AKIN ANG KORONA

Life turns riveting for Nanong when the tabloid-format reality TV show Akin Ang Korona chances upon his curious life in a sleepy seaside town in Catanauan Quezon. He agrees to film his daily life drying herring, with a deal that they would help find his lost father. Since then, Nanong’s quest will become a search of truth and wonder, framed for and by the TV program. The film has won the People’s Choice Award at the Sinag Maynila Independent Film Festival 2019.

Zig Madamba Dulay holds a degree in Communication Arts from the University of the Philippines Baguio and Masters in U.P. Diliman specializing in creative writing. He directed his debut feature, “The Last Kiss” in 2011 and he also wrote several scripts for different directors. After his short “Missing” (2013), he directed several multi-rewarded long features.
