Located in Dongbei Province, Qiqihar was China’s economic centre for a long time. But since the closure of the factories and the emigration to the big cities began, this prosperous destination has fallen into oblivion. Daquan, who used to work in a railway accessories factory, is laid off and finds himself on the streets not knowing what to do. To make matters worse, he is accused of theft, and although he defends his innocence, the police do not believe him. To get revenge he decides to catch the thief himself and thus prove his innocence.
