Cinema de l’Iran

Aquest nou programa de cinema iranià que presenta Casa Àsia comprèn deu títols produïts per la nova generació de cineastes formats a l’Iran, i l’aportació al cinema del seu país està sent decisiva.

El cinema iranià suscita gran interès tant per la seva narrativitat com per la seva manera d’afrontar la vida domèstica i quotidiana dels seus protagonistes, així com la vida privada d’una societat que mai acabem de conèixer, però que no obstant això ens resulta molt propera. Entre les pel·lícules que es projectaran hi ha algunes imprescindibles com “Mina’s option”, “Until Ahmad Returns”, “A House of 41st”, “Bench Cinema”, “Cyanide” i “Sara & Aida”. No obstant això, cal destacar que en l’última edició de l’Asian Film Festival. Barcelona (Novembre 2017) es va concedir el Premi de Millor Director a Hamid Reza Ghorbani per “A House of 41st” de la secció Panorama, i el Premi de Millor Guió a “Houra” de la secció Escoles de Cinema de Barcelona.

Cinema of Iran

This new programme of Iranian cinema presented by Casa Asia includes a list of ten films produced by a new generation of cinematographers educated in Iran, whose contribution to the cinema of their country is playing a crucial role. 

Iranian cinema focus on the narration and on the way to confront the domestic and daily life of the characters, as well as the private life of a society that can’t completely be understood, although it seems familiar. Among the films that will be screened, some of the essential ones are “Mina’s option”, “Until Ahmad Returns”, “A House of 41st”, “Bench Cinema”, “Cyanide” and “Sara & Aida”. However, it is remarkable that the winner of the Best Director Award in the Panorama Section of the 2017 Asian Film Festival. Barcelona was Hamid Reza Ghorbani with “A House of 41st”, and “Houra” was awarded with the Best Screenplay by the Young Jury of the Festival.
