Synopsis
Tajikistan is on the eve of the declaration of its Independence. This happens in the era of the Komsomol, the KGB, bread deficiency, and inflation. Kahhor and Mannon, two old friends, are put to the test when one of them gets the lucky lottery ticket as his salary.
Director
Muhiddin Muzaffar, born in 1987 in Kanibadan, Tajikistan, is a film director, actor, and a member of the Filmmakers’ Union of Tajikistan. He studied Film and Theatre Acting at the M. Tursunzade Institute of Culture and Arts in Dushanbe (2009), at the short-term Filmschool of the Filmmakers’ Union of Tajikistan (2008), at the Theater Direction Course by SoundDrama Theater-Studio of V.Pankov in Ilkhom Theater, Tashkent (2013), and at the Higher Film Direction Courses in VGIK, Moscow (2021). His films have been screened in national and international film festivals.
