The Coldest City

Synopsis

The film is set in a cold city in northeastern China in 1945, a turbulent period in Chinese history following the surrender of the Japanese army. In a deserted city devastated by the forces of the underworld, the story follows Gu Nian, a classic gunfighter figure, as he walks alone in a materialistic and broken old world, fighting for loyalty, honour and promises to his lost friends.
