Synopsis
Ami, haunted by recurring apparitions, embarks on a journey from Singapore to Japan in search of her missing mother. Amidst the transforming landscapes, Ami’s dreams, hauntings and missing mother unveil their true form.
Director
Nicole Midori Woodford is a Singaporean film director, writer and editor. She was an alumnus of Berlinale Talents as well as the Asian Film Academy in 2010. Her short films have competed at various film festivals like the Busan International Film Festival, the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, the Signes De Nuit and the Singapore International Film Festival. She is the author of the short Ordinary which was commissioned for the 28th SEA Games and chronicles the rise of Singapore’s football legend Fandi Ahmad. Over the span of three years, she was involved in spearheading commercial and independent works. She is now a film lecturer at the School of Art, Design & Media at Nanyang Technological University.
