Synopsis
Yu returns to his hometown on Hainan Island after spending ten years in prison and tries to regain his relationship with his former lover, Su Hong. Hong’s plan to buy an apartment confronts them with some difficulties, but their dogged perseverance gives them strength to move forward with their lives and make up for each other’s absence.
Director
Wu Lang is a chinese director and writer. Graduated from the Sculpture Department of the Art College of Hainan University, he has been working as a film director and screenwriter since 2013 and participated in the creation of many advertisements and short films: The Emotion of Line (2015), The Soul of Goldfish (2019), Absence (2021).
