Mudras: Dancing Invisible Strings
India/Spain | Dir: Maria Salgado | 2025 | 78’ | VOSE | Documentary
The film follows the parallel journeys of a mother and daughter, united by dance and separated by time. Thirty years after the mother traveled to India in search of her identity as a woman and an artist, it is now the daughter who sets out on that same path. She believes she is venturing into the unknown, without realizing she is entering her mother’s most intimate territory. Between Castile region and India, past and present intertwine in a story that explores the invisible threads that bind them and poses an essential question: to grow, is it necessary to let them go?
