Synopsis

Daava and Zaya, a young couple raising their four children in Mongolia’s vast Bayankhongor region, live as generations before them did—deeply connected to the land and their animals. After an unexpectedly severe sandstorm devastates their herd, they face a once-unthinkable decision that will change their family’s life forever. Forced by climate change and environmental hardship, they must leave their beloved herding life behind and migrate to the city.
