Synopsis
Like many women of her generation, Li Hong makes constant sacrifices for the well-being of others, while all the men around her repay her with mistreatment. First, her authoritarian father, who forced her to abandon her studies to work. Then, her petty brother, who occupies her house without paying rent. But above all, her abusive and miserly husband, who treats her like a servant. Not even her daughter realizes that everyone is taking advantage of her goodwill. She keeps trying to convince herself that things will change, but after yet another episode of physical and psychological violence, she decides to leave, despite the fact that the COVID pandemic has just erupted.
