Synopsis
Dao, a young jockey, has participated in horse’s races since he was five to support his struggling family. When his baby brother Fatih is born, Dao is sent to live with a horse owner, where he works and studies by dim stable light, dreaming of becoming a vet. After witnessing a rider fall during training, Dao is gripped by fear. His father takes him to a shaman, who blesses him and promises he’ll be safe. But Dao is troubled by talk of Fatih becoming a jockey too. On race day, standing at the starting line, Dao carries both hope and worry. How long can he keep racing—and at what cost to himself and his family?
