Synopsis
Months after the third wave of the COVID pandemic, Manoj, a young actor, is trying to rebuild his career while coping with personal trauma. He joins his theatre peers on a trip to a village near Mumbai, but the journey does not go as expected, and he ends up returning alone, walking naked along the road. His existence begins to fragment into pieces. He skips important rehearsals for his upcoming play and struggles with even the most ordinary tasks. Then he befriends a little boy living in the apartment across the street and discovers that his father regularly abuses him. This revelation sets Manoj on a complex journey of uncertainty and intrigue.
Director
Abhijit Mazumdar is an Indian filmmaker and screenwriter, graduated from the Film & Television Institute of India (FTII). He currently heads the Direction Department at Mumbai’s Whistling Woods International Institute. Over his career, he has directed short films, documentaries, commercials, and two notable feature films: Yeti (2014) and Body (2023). The latter premiered at the 29th International Film Festival of Kerala.
