Nous horitzons del v\u00eddeo art a \u00c0sia <\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">reuneix l\u2019obra recent de vuit artistes asi\u00e0tics, procedents de Hong Kong, el Jap\u00f3, la Xina, Mong\u00f2lia i el Kazakhstan, l&#8217;inter\u00e8s dels quals se centra en el descobriment de nous horitzons de la imatge en moviment. En l&#8217;intent d&#8217;aconseguir el seu objectiu, exploren els l\u00edmits del v\u00eddeo art i la seva potencialitat de cara al futur desenvolupament de la imatge en moviment, i la construcci\u00f3 de noves narratives i de noves formes de narrar. Tot i tenir en compte la individualitat i singularitat de totes i cadascuna de les produccions que es projectaran, no s&#8217;ha de perdre de vista la difer\u00e8ncia cultural que les caracteritza i respectivament les connexions que \u00e9s possible establir entre els diferents paisatges simb\u00f2lics que abasten. En un m\u00f3n dividit i cada cop m\u00e9s polaritzat, la directora de CIFRA creu que l&#8217;art pot tenir un paper crucial tant en cultures afins com oposades entre si, introduint canvis en les din\u00e0miques de poder que millorin la consci\u00e8ncia de l&#8217;espectador. El planeta que coneixem actualment \u00e9s un m\u00f3n en crisi que nom\u00e9s pot canviar gr\u00e0cies a la invenci\u00f3 tecnol\u00f2gica i cient\u00edfica i a la innovaci\u00f3 permanent en les arts visuals.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">La primera de les obres que es projectaran \u00e9s <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">A Palm, a Fountain, a Umbrella<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> (2024), de Sharon Cheuk Wun Lee, el qual fa un poema en el format v\u00eddeo que explora les alteracions que es produeixen a la ciutat on viu, arrel dels canvis sociopol\u00edtics que tenen lloc, el biling\u00fcisme i la seva influ\u00e8ncia en la identitat cultural dels ciutadans afectats. <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Ebony Dreams<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> (2019), d&#8217;Eri Saito, \u00e9s alhora un experiment que explora com els nostres cossos es mouen inconscientment, en casos com els derivats del somnambulisme, percebuts pels altres com a moviments inexplicables. L&#8217;intrigant i surreal v\u00eddeo <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Ringo <\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">(2020) d&#8217;Amie Barouh evoca records de la inf\u00e0ncia i el nostre nen interior dins el context actual. El sarc\u00e0stic v\u00eddeo <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Lerne Deutsch in Meiner K\u00fcche<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> (2020), de Popo Fan, submergeix els espectadors en una classe de cuina i de llengua alemanya que fa un gir absurd. Axl presenta per primer cop el seu darrer treball <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Joseph&#8217;s Midnight Party <\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">(2024). Treballa amb materials peribles que fan refer\u00e8ncia a la p\u00e8rdua i la desaparici\u00f3 de la mem\u00f2ria i la hist\u00f2ria. De la mateixa manera, s&#8217;ocupa de la dislocaci\u00f3 cultural, les pertinences itinerants i la dona a les hist\u00f2ries colonials. La seva investigaci\u00f3 art\u00edstica gira al voltant de Hong Kong, com una ciutat de pas i una cultura perif\u00e8rica i inclassificable. Lee es va graduar i va obtenir un m\u00e0ster en Belles Arts a la Universitat Xina de Hong Kong i est\u00e0 fent un altre m\u00e0ster en Belles Arts a la Universitat de Columbia a Nova York. Ha format part de projectes art\u00edstics de l&#8217;Art Promotion Office (Hong Kong, 2021), Peer to Peer (RR. UU, Hong Kong, 2020) i del Hong Kong International Photo Festival (Hong Kong, 2020). Va ser seleccionada per al KG+SELECT i el Sovereign Asian Art Prize (2023), i va guanyar el premi de WMA Master el 2019. Despr\u00e9s de viure a T\u00f2quio fins als 17 anys, Amie Barouh es va traslladar a Par\u00eds, on va con\u00e8ixer la comunitat gitana i va decidir submergir-s&#8217;hi. Aquesta experi\u00e8ncia va influir en la seva relaci\u00f3 amb el m\u00f3n on viu i va comen\u00e7ar a utilitzar el format v\u00eddeo per abastar diferents mons. La proximitat que mant\u00e9 amb les persones amb qui treballa \u00e9s com si escriv\u00eds un diari cinematogr\u00e0fic, volent rodar un documental experimental que dona veu als marginats de la societat. Els seus documentals <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Queer<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> i<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> Family Trilogy<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> han tingut un impacte significatiu en la societat xinesa. El 2017, va abandonar Pequ\u00edn i se&#8217;n va anar a viure a Berl\u00edn, on des de llavors s&#8217;ha dedicat a escriure i dirigir guions de curtmetratges que aborden temes interseccionals com les q\u00fcestions LGBTQ+, la migraci\u00f3 i el sexe. \u00c9s director convidat a la plataforma de streaming XConfessions d&#8217;Erika Lust. Ha actuat ocasionalment en obres de v\u00eddeo d&#8217;artistes com Shu Lea Cheang, Simon Dybbroe M\u00f8ller, Zayne Armstrong i Ellinor Aurora Aasgaard. A m\u00e9s, Popo ha treballat amb el Beijing Queer Film Festival durant m\u00e9s d&#8217;una d\u00e8cada i \u00e9s comissari convidat a S\u0130NEMA TRANSTOPIA de Berl\u00edn. Treballa principalment amb els mitjans digitals, i les pr\u00e0ctiques art\u00edstiques inclouen v\u00eddeo\/pel\u00b7l\u00edcula, animaci\u00f3 3D, jocs, tecnologia d&#8217;intel\u00b7lig\u00e8ncia artificial i realitat virtual (RV). Des del 2016, tracta de realitzar obres que exploren i reflexionen sobre les relacions entre la tecnologia i la vida cultural, aix\u00ed com les connexions entre tecnologia, ci\u00e8ncia i naturalesa a l&#8217;era digital, tenint en compte el futur desenvolupament de la humanitat. El seu treball ha estat publicat en plataformes com NOWNESS \u00c0sia, Videotage HK, Videoclub i Art Tracks. Ha exposat tamb\u00e9 en fires com Art Basel HK, Microclima Venezia, Siggraph, Esea contemporary, CICA Museum, Tank Shanghai i l&#8217;Himalayan Center Shanghai. Treballa principalment amb pintura, v\u00eddeo i performance, centrant-se en l&#8217;experi\u00e8ncia humana des d&#8217;una perspectiva existencial. En els seus primers v\u00eddeos, ha explorat l&#8217;absurditat de la vida contempor\u00e0nia, els aspectes performatius i enganyosos de la identitat, i la soledat i l&#8217;alienaci\u00f3 dins dels mons virtuals. Des de la pand\u00e8mia, s&#8217;ha anat centrant cada cop m\u00e9s en la pintura i la performance. Els estudis de filosofia budista han influ\u00eft en el seu treball, dotant-lo interiorment d&#8217;una for\u00e7a espiritual, una aura i un estil surrealista oriental. En aquesta fase, Chen ha comen\u00e7at a explorar les relacions entre el cos, l\u2019espai, la percepci\u00f3, l\u2019esperit i l\u2019energia. Viu i treballa a Alemanya i Kazakhstan. El seu treball s&#8217;ha exposat internacionalment a la Biennal de Sydney (Austr\u00e0lia), la Biennal de Ven\u00e8cia, la Biennal de Moscou (R\u00fassia) i la Biennal Internacional de Gangwon (Corea del Sud). L&#8217;obra de Menlibayeva aborda q\u00fcestions relacionades amb l&#8217;exploraci\u00f3 cr\u00edtica de la modernitat sovi\u00e8tica; les transformacions socials, econ\u00f2miques i pol\u00edtiques a l&#8217;\u00c0sia Central postsovi\u00e8tica; i les reinterpretacions descolonials de temes de g\u00e8nere, la degradaci\u00f3 mediambiental i les cosmologies i mitologies n\u00f2mades i ind\u00edgenes euroasi\u00e0tiques.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Shuree Sarantuya:<\/span><\/b> <i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Curse of Staged Atavism<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> (2024), 11\u201941\u2019\u2019\u202f<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Shuree Sarantuya (Mong\u00f2lia\/Alemanya) \u00e9s una artista medi\u00e0tica i activista que viu a Col\u00f2nia des del 2019. Va n\u00e9ixer i va cr\u00e9ixer a Ulan Bator (Mong\u00f2lia). Es va graduar a la Universitat Estatal d&#8217;Art i Cultura de Mong\u00f2lia el 2016 amb una especialitzaci\u00f3 en direcci\u00f3 de cinema i radiodifusi\u00f3. Fins al febrer del 2024 va estudiar a l&#8217;Acad\u00e8mia d&#8217;Arts Audiovisuals de Col\u00f2nia, centrant-se en continguts de v\u00eddeo basats en motors de joc. La major part del seu treball se centra en les minories \u00e8tniques, les darreres tribus n\u00f2mades i els pobles ind\u00edgenes del nord, est i de l&#8217;\u00c0sia Central. La seva pr\u00e0ctica es basa en la investigaci\u00f3 art\u00edstica i el coneixement n\u00f2mada, per crear un proc\u00e9s experimental en qu\u00e8 utilitza diversos mitjans digitals, amb la intenci\u00f3 de representar la transici\u00f3\/migraci\u00f3 constant d&#8217;una llar n\u00f2mada a un estil de vida sedentari.
