Synopsis
The day before their wedding, Lauren and Ned have to deal with the sudden disappearance of Lauren’s mother. With just ten days to go until the celebration, the couple embarks on an exciting quest through the wildest corners of Australia. During their adventure, they are forced to face situations that test their relationship and threaten to end a wedding they had been dreaming of for a long time.
Director
Wayne Blair (1963) is a prominent Australian director known for his work in film and television. With his debut opera, The Sapphires (2012), a drama comedy based on the true story of an Indigenous Australian musical group, he gained enduring recognition. His innovative approach and ability to introduce humour to whatever conflict it raises has secured him a prominent place in Australian cinema. He has also directed several episodes of TV series such as Redfern Now and Total Control, adding to his experience as a filmmaker.
