Synopsis

Spear (2016) is a film that combines dance, film and theatre to tell the story of a young Aboriginal man named Djali, who embarks on a journey of self-discovery as he attempts to understand his cultural and spiritual identity. The film explores the tensions between modern life and ancient Aboriginal traditions, depicting the challenges faced by young Indigenous people trying to balance their cultural heritage with the pressures of the contemporary world.
