Synopsis
One Bullet (2024) is a documentary that tells the story of an unexpected friendship between Bibi Hajji, an Afghan mother, and American filmmaker Carol Dysinger. In the context of the longest war in U.S. history, these two women create an indestructible bond. However, the real scene of conflict is inside an Afghan home, where Bibi Hajji struggles to cope with the loss of her youngest son. The shocking image of her shot son leads Dysinger to search for answers: What really happened? Who is to blame? As the filmmaker advances in her investigation, she becomes emotionally involved with the family, becoming a close observer of the terrible consequences of the American invasion. One Bullet (2024) is a profound exploration of the pain of loss and the aftermath that war leaves on the fate of a home.
