Synopsis
On August 12, 2015, Hasegawa proposes to Ichiko. Ichiko is thrilled by Hasegawa’s proposal and sheds tears, but the next day she suddenly leaves home, apparently shocked after watching the TV news. Where has Ichiko gone? Hasegawa reports her disappearace to the police, and the detective in charge of the investigation tells an unexpected story.
Director
Akihiro Toda is a Japanese director, screenwriter and producer with a degree in theater arts from Kindai University. He founded the production company Cheese Film in 2014, as well as the theater group Cheese Theater in 2017. He is known for The Name (2017), We have the same morning (2021) and his new film, Ichiko (2023).
