Synopsis
This feature-length film brings together three interconnected stories revolving around the theme of palliative care, exploring how people cope with the end of life, love, and the act of letting go. The first one, The Last Kiss, follows Zheng and Cindy as they find love and healing by helping terminally ill patients fulfill their final wishes. The Last Joke chronicles Betty’s dream of becoming a comedian despite battling a serious illness. The third, The Last Meal, features Seng, a seventy-year-old man who teaches his grandson Wei to cook in an effort to save him from addiction.
