A Long Shot

Synopsis

At the dawn of the 1990s, as new industrialization begins to hit northeast China, an old, closed steel factory becomes the scene of an intense struggle for control and justice. Wang Jian, a retired competition sniper, accepts the position of head of security, with the main objective of keeping Li Wei, the teenage son of Li Na, a former factory worker, out of crime. The closed factory becomes a symbol of resistance and cohesion for its former workers and a target for criminals who try to take advantage of the situation. Wang Jian braves a sea of corruption and dishonesty to maintain his integrity and protect those who depend on him.
