style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"justify\">El Asian Film Festival Barcelona | AFFBCN, el festival de cine asi\u00e1tico de autor, llega este a\u00f1o a su duod\u00e9cima edici\u00f3n y se celebrar\u00e1 del 24 de octubre al 3 de noviembre de 2024. El Festival mantiene un a\u00f1o m\u00e1s sus se\u00f1as de identidad, y proyectar\u00e1 un centenar de pel\u00edculas representativas del cine experimental e independiente del nuevo cine asi\u00e1tico, con la participaci\u00f3n de filmograf\u00edas procedentes de una veintena de pa\u00edses de Asia y el Pac\u00edfico.<\/p>\n<p>El AFFBCN 2024 distribuir\u00e1 su programaci\u00f3n en <strong>cinco secciones<\/strong>: Oficial, Oficial Panorama, Discoveries, NETPAC y Especial, todas ellas a concurso. La sala Phenomena acoger\u00e1 la pel\u00edcula inaugural \u201c<strong>Citizen of a Kind<\/strong>\u201d de la directora Park Young-ju (Corea 2024), mientras que en los Cinemes Girona se proyectar\u00e1 el grueso principal de pel\u00edculas, entre ellas, la que clausurar\u00e1 este certamen especializado en cine asi\u00e1tico: \u201c<strong>Time Still Turns the Pages<\/strong>\u201d del director Nick Cheuk (Hong Kong, 2023). Por otra parte, la Plataforma FILMIN y el canal de televisi\u00f3n BETEV\u00c9 ser\u00e1n las sedes en l\u00ednea.<\/p>\n<p>Para la directora del AFFBCN, Menene Gras Balaguer, \u201cla programaci\u00f3n de este a\u00f1o contiene numerosas sorpresas de los pa\u00edses participantes que permitir\u00e1n actualizar nuestro conocimiento de la industria del cine asi\u00e1tico, sujeto a cambio y a innovaci\u00f3n permanentemente, y que iremos desvelando\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Como <strong>novedades<\/strong> a a\u00f1adir a la programaci\u00f3n, este a\u00f1o el Festival incorpora un curso dedicado al cine asi\u00e1tico, una serie de mesas redondas, adem\u00e1s de las presentaciones y coloquios con los directores invitados. Y por segunda vez, se ha lanzado una convocatoria dirigida a directores, productores y estudiantes de cine, para que presentaran en el mes de marzo los largometrajes y documentales, que aspiraran a formar parte de la programaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<div>El AFFBCN 2024 conceder\u00e1 <b>dieciocho premios<\/b>: a la mejor pel\u00edcula, mejor director y mejor gui\u00f3n para cada una de las cinco secciones a concurso: Oficial, Oficial Panorama, Discoveries, NETPAC y Especial, que conceder\u00e1n sus <b>respectivos<\/b>\u00a0jurados, compuesto por directores, cr\u00edticos de cine y escritores<b>, entre otros. Para esta duod\u00e9cima edici\u00f3n se suma una nueva secci\u00f3n, Nuevas Miradas, que cuenta con su jurado correspondiente, Jurado Joven, formado por estudiantes de cine, artes visuales y estudios de Asia Oriental de universidades nacionales e internacionales, que otorgar\u00e1 los premios a la mejor pel\u00edcula, mejor director y mejor guion, a partir de una selecci\u00f3n de las pel\u00edculas a concurso del Festival.<\/b><\/div>\n<p>El Festival cuenta con el apoyo del ICEC (Generalitat de Catalunya), ICUB (Ajuntament de Barcelona), HKETO (Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, Brussels), FICB (Fundaci\u00f3 Institut Confuci de Barcelona), Embajada de Australia y Japan Foundation, entre otros.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n<style type=\"text\/css\"
