AFFBCN, el festival de cinema asi\u00e0tic d&#8217;autor, arriba aquest any a la dotzena edici\u00f3 i se celebrar\u00e0 del 24 d&#8217;octubre al 3 de novembre del 2024. El Festival mant\u00e9 un any m\u00e9s les seves senyes d&#8217;identitat, i projectar\u00e0 un centenar de pel\u00b7l\u00edcules representatives del cinema experimental i independent del nou cinema asi\u00e0tic, amb la participaci\u00f3 de filmografies procedents d&#8217;una vintena de pa\u00efsos d&#8217;\u00c0sia i el Pac\u00edfic.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;AFFBCN 2024 distribuir\u00e0 la seva programaci\u00f3 en <strong>cinc seccions<\/strong>: Oficial, Oficial Panorama, Discoveries, NETPAC i Especial, totes a concurs. La sala Phenomena acollir\u00e0 la pel\u00b7l\u00edcula inaugural \u201c<strong>Citizen of a Kind<\/strong>\u201d de la directora Park Young-ju (Corea 2024), mentre que als Cinemes Girona es projectar\u00e0 el gruix principal de pel\u00b7l\u00edcules, entre elles, la que clausurar\u00e0 aquest certamen especialitzat en cinema asi\u00e0tic: \u201c<strong>Time Still Turns the Pages<\/strong>\u201d del director Nick Cheuk (Hong Kong, 2023). D&#8217;altra banda, la Plataforma FILMIN i el canal de televisi\u00f3 BETEV\u00c9 seran les seus en l\u00ednia.<\/p>\n<p>Per a la directora de l&#8217;AFFBCN, Menene Gras Balaguer, &#8220;la programaci\u00f3 d&#8217;aquest any cont\u00e9 nombroses sorpreses dels pa\u00efsos participants que permetran actualitzar el nostre coneixement de la ind\u00fastria del cinema asi\u00e0tic, subjecte a canvi ia innovaci\u00f3 permanentment, i que anirem desvetllant&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Com a <strong>novetats<\/strong> a afegir a la programaci\u00f3, aquest any el Festival incorpora un curs dedicat al cinema asi\u00e0tic, una s\u00e8rie de taules rodones, a m\u00e9s de les presentacions i col\u00b7loquis amb els directors convidats. I per segona vegada, s&#8217;ha llan\u00e7at una convocat\u00f2ria adre\u00e7ada a directors, productors i estudiants de cinema, perqu\u00e8 presentessin al mes de mar\u00e7 els llargmetratges i documentals, que aspiressin a formar part de la programaci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019AFFBCN 2024 concedir\u00e0 <b>divuit premis<\/b>: a la millor pel\u00b7l\u00edcula, millor director i millor gui\u00f3 per a cadascuna de les seccions a concurs,<b>\u00a0Oficial, Oficial Panorama, Discoveries, NETPAC y Especial, <\/b>que concediran\u00a0els seus <b>respectius<\/b>\u00a0jurats, compost per directors, cr\u00edtics de cinema i escriptors<b>, entre d&#8217;altres.<\/b><b> Per a aquesta dotzena edici\u00f3 s&#8217;hi afegeix una nova secci\u00f3, Noves Mirades, que compta amb el seu jurat corresponent, Jurat Jove, format per estudiants de cinema, arts visuals i estudis d&#8217;\u00c0sia Oriental d&#8217;universitats nacionals i internacionals, que atorgar\u00e0 els premis a la millor pel\u00b7l\u00edcula, millor director i millor gui\u00f3, a partir d&#8217;una selecci\u00f3 de les pel\u00b7l\u00edcules a concurs del Festival.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>El Festival compta amb el suport de l&#8217;ICEC (Generalitat de Catalunya), ICUB (Ajuntament de Barcelona), HKETO (Hong Kong Econ\u00f2mic i Trade Office, Brussels), FICB (Fundaci\u00f3 Institut Confuci de Barcelona), Ambaixada
